Altered perspectives

You jump up, startled as Albert runs out of his room, crossing over to the bathroom so fast you only see a blur. You can hear him saying, "No, no, no, no, no," echoing in the bathroom. You rush up, and see Albert on the scale, staring at the number.

"Albert?" you say, worried, "What's wrong."

"Look at me!" he says, standing up strait. You look. Given your experiences, you expect to see either he gained weight, or lost it or... something, but he looks normal.

"You look fine." you say confused. Albert looks in the mirror, hands at his stomach, then at his muzzle.

"I'm not fine, I'm huge!" he says, "Look at this!" he says, shaking his washboard ab stomach to little effect. "I must have gained 50 pounds at least!"

"No really Albert, you look normal," you say, confused as to what is going on.

"You mind keeping it down." says Fred, sleepily walking over from his room. He rubs his eyes, then stops for a moment, looking down at his skinny body. "Hey..." he says, slight intrigue in his voice. then goes to the mirror, looking into it. "I'm looking good." he says.

"Ok, what is going on with you two?" you ask.

"Not now," says Albert, pushing past you, "I gotta get to the gym!" He hurries to his room. Fred is still at the mirror. "Hey, do I look buffer to you?" he asks.

"Not really," you say. Albert soon burst out of his room and heads downstairs to the kitchen. He reaches for a protein drink and is about to drink it when he stops. He then takes it to the sink and pours it out. "It must be a bad batch." he says, more to himself then you, "That's gotta be it."

"Albert, for the last time, you look fine," you say.

"No, I look fat! I gotta fix this." he says, and stomps out without you, taking off in his truck before you can stop him.

"What the heck is going on!" you yell.

"Beats me," says Fred coming down, looking at his arms as he flexes.

You think, and with only so many clues, go to check the photo, the only significant even from last night. You look at it, and your mouth drops. The photo has changed. You see Fred in it, but his usually skinny frame has grown a small layer of muscle over it. Meanwhile, Albert has a pot belly hanging off his muscular frame, with a slight layer of pudge. Looking back at Fred, you see he hasn't actually changed, still skinny, though apparently he sees what the photo shows. Albert must be seeing the same!
