Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
You don't want to sweat in the slippers, but you figure it can't hurt to see if they fit any better than they do now. You take off a sock and replace it with a slipper. It's a tight fit, but not all that uncomfortable. In fact, once on, it feels soft and warm. Satisfied, you replace your other sock and stand up. Like new tennis shoes, the slippers add bounce to your step. You walk over to the fireplace and start a fire. Then, sitting down, you take a closer look at the slippers. They are handsomely crafted, and more detailed than you noticed at first. Each even has cleats or something in the front, although you don't know why anyone would need traction in the privacy of his own bedroom. At least, you don't care to think about it. In the light of the fire, the whole room seems more comfortable.
