Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
Not without hesitation, you climb upstairs and are surprised when Jason bounds up behind you on all fours. Were it not for his solemn demeanor, he would seem more like a house pet than the master of the house. You shrug and continue until you reach the room on the far left. Jason pushes past you and stands, then walks over to his bed.
"This is where you want me to hide?" you ask, skepticism getting the best of you.
"Only until the change is complete," he replies matter-of-factly. You blanch. "Mickey," he laughs, "surely you didn't think you could remain human forever! You wouldn't last ten seconds, if anything were to go wrong. Your smell would give you away."
"There's no alternative?" you ask, shrinking away.
"I guess you could hide out in a barn for a week or two," Jason muses. "You'd still be someone's dinner, though." He looks you in the eye. "Don't think I'm taking advantage of you," he says. "If you really want to stay human, I'll honor that. One bite isn't very painful, though, and you'd feel a lot better afterward."
You lean back against the bed and sigh. "Maybe so," you concede, preparing to think it over.
"Good!" Jason shouts, and he tears into your arm with his powerful jaws.
