You gingerly open a box of crayons. Eight crayons are inside, but the colors are not what you expected. The crayons are not identified on their labels, but one is clear, another sort of opalesque, and so forth. You choose a brownish one, and on a note pad provided by the hotel, you color a chocolate bar and a large, hairy spider. You don't consider yourself much of an artist, so you stop at that and lie back on your bed. After a few minutes, you look up and see that a chocolate bar is resting atop the note pad and beginning to melt. Already hungry, you smile, but your pleasure turns to dread when you realize that a large, hairy spider may be loose in the room. Is there insecticide in your attaché case? Even if insecticide won't kill mutant arthropods, you always could use the can to beat them to death.
