To Market, to Market

Not much of a hunter by instinct, you run up the street to the nearest supermarket. You grab a shopping cart and head for the pet-food aisle. There, you pile several bags of kibble onto the lower portion of the cart. You look down your muzzle at the canned foods but decide that fresh meat would suit you better. In the meat section, the butcher eyes you suspiciously, but you snarl at him and make him go away. Once you are alone, you load up the cart with pork chops and ribeye steaks. You debate whether to get chicken, as well, but you feel more in the mood for pork and beef than poultry. Besides, the cart already is filled to capacity. Satisfied, you march to the front of the store to check out. A young woman smiles at you and says, "You really don't have to pay for all of that."

"Really?" you ask, your tail starting to wag.

"Yes, this is Animal Appreciation Week," she says, beads of sweat lining her forehead.
