Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
You feel bad about refusing a gift, but you hate for the slippers to go to waste, and you obviously never will use them. You find the store still open, and the old man is behind the counter, looking almost as if he has been waiting for you. "Too small?" he asks, even before you can bring the slippers into view.
"Yes," you reply. "I was wondering if I could look around for a minute, as long as I'm back."
"Sure thing," says the old man, a twinkle in each eye. "Take your time. I'd hate for you to leave again without something that strikes your fancy."
Moving from one aisle to the next, you find several items that intrigue you: a cube of malachite on a necklace, an ivory carving of a jaguar, and a tall jar of blue salts, presumably for the bath. Do you choose one of these or continue browsing?
