You Can Run, But You Can't Hide

The time has come for drastic action. Grabbing Fred by his furry chest, you slap him across the face. "Fred!" you cry with each slap. "Snap out of it!"

Fred shakes his head sharply, and his eyes seem to refocus. "What's going on?" he asks you in a bewildered voice.

"We're getting out of here!" you declare, pulling Fred to the front door.

Jake, meanwhile, seems strangely unconcerned. "Hurry back!" he calls after you cheerfully.

Outside, you and Fred hail a passing taxicab. At breakneck speed, the cab drives you to the airport, where you dash into a waiting airplane. In seconds, the plane flies you and Fred from one side of the country to the next. You sprint to a docked ship which miraculously zips across the ocean to a remote island. On the island you spot an inviting bamboo hut. You fling open the door to find ... the exact room you just left, with Jake still parked on the couch.

Looking up from his magazine, Jake gives you a grin. "Have a nice trip?" he asks.
