Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
"What next?" you ask, eager to start work.
Brian looks down. "There's something that you should know before this goes any further," he mumbles. The old man stops smiling and grows very serious.
You keep smiling, reluctant to surrender your good mood. "What is it?" you ask. "Do I have to clean out the birdcage, or something like that?"
Brian clears his throat. "Spit it out, Ryan--I mean, Brian," orders the old man.
In a soft purr, Brian presents the problem. "The old man chose you specifically. He felt that you needed guidance." Brian chooses his words slowly and carefully, as a surgeon might his medical instruments.
"I don't understand," you sputter, growing worried.
At this point, the old man takes over. "What Brian is trying to say is that you are not quite human. With or without our involvement, you were destined to undergo changes tonight. They do not have to be unpleasant, but without proper explanation, they almost certainly will distress you."
