This time you don't black out. This may or may not be for the best. You see your scales open up and feathers pop out. Your reptilian head stays mainly the same, but your mouth turns hard and forms into a beak. Your legs grow thin and hard, yet you can kinda move your feet. Your eyes only shift a little bit, but with the feathers it makes a fierce and cunning expression. Just when you think you're done, your arms flatten out and your chest puffs out. You've become some sort of humanoid hawk.
You notice your changes and then look toward Doctor Maroo. Her old and frail body suddenly straightens up, and her wrinkles disappear. Her old gray hair becomes straight and brown. Her limbs get their color back and she gets taller. She is her old self again! You realize how young and beautiful she looks in the body she was born with. She says, "This makes sense. If our DNA is still rearranging, we are bound to go back to our old bodies sooner or later at random. Still, I didn't expect it so soon." "So you're cured?", you ask. "Unfortunately, no, I will still change," she answers.
Suddenly an idea strikes you. "We don't need a helicopter,"you say, "I can fly us!" She agrees with the idea in concept, but decides that you should bring a helicopter for when you transform again. Soon you are on your way.
