Your madly twitching barefeet

don't seem ready for the tickle-torture that you can see and hear going on all around you. Are there tens, hundreds or thousands of ticklish humans restrained in torture devices all around you? It sounds like millions, all laughing in total tickled agony. Yet even as you think that your poor bare feet may be way too ticklish to take this (and judging from the tormented quality of the laughter reverberating in your ears, all the other victims feel exactly the same), you suddenly feel calm deep inside as the Tickling Demon's touch reaches your sole.

Though it tickles madly, and normally you'd be laughing your head off right away, you remain calm for a minute. The demon thinks you're fighting your ticklishness, and exhorts you to give in and laugh and make it easier on yourself, explaining that struggling will only make it tickle worse in the long run. Then he resumes torturing your tootsies. Presently you feel the laughter bubbling up inside you, gradually moving from the very core of your being and rising up until it reaches your lips and then starts to pour out, as quickly as the laughter of the other tickled victims.

The demon seems pleased as he continues to tickle your barefeet. As he tickles, he listens to the quality of your laughter, and once or twice shakes his head. The feverish pitch of the laughter of the other victims seems almost to lose a little intensity. You continue laughing, continuing to notice a strange feeling inside. Then another demon comes over to your tickler and tells him that something is wrong; you're not laughing in agony, you're laughing... in delight!

Your demon snarls that that's impossible and keeps tickling your feet. But by now you yourself realize that it's true. It isn't at all agonizing for you; this tickling is actually delicious! In fact, you're enjoying it more every second, and your laughter is getting happier and happier!

By now your demon realizes there's definitely something wrong. The head demon comes over to him and orders him to stop tickling your feet at once. He's amazed to discover that he can't stop. Some force greater than himself is making his tickling talons keep up their work all over your arches, soles and toes, as you laugh in ever-increasing delight, feeling yourself growing lighter. The laughter in the rest of the chamber dies away as the other tickling demons leave their work to gather around you nervously. They all try to pull your tickler away from you, but even more of their hands are drawn to your bound bare feet as soon you're being tickled by more demons than you can count and finding it more and more heavenly.

At last, as you let off the mightiest burst of happy laughter you've ever given in your life, you feel something sprout out of your back. Could it be a pair of wings? Must be - the head demon cries out, "I knew it - it's the Laughing Angel!"
