"She should be arriving at any minute. I want to get her laughing on a recording so I can exploit her as a hippocrite and prove to the town that everyone laughs and it is not a form of bad manners," says Pippi.
"Leave everything to me," you say.
Soon ther is a knock at the door and a plump lady in a blue business dress arrives. She is wearing sensible, black pumps and has her hair up in a beehive. She also wears black rimmed glasses and has a sour look on her face.
"come in Miss Manners. I've been wating for you all day. Please come into the dining room, dinner will be served shortly."
Pippi and Miss Manners sit at the table as you hide underneath with a tape recorder in hand. Pippi begins to talk about the article on laughter and you press record.
"Yes, princess Pippi, I think laughter is a totaly vulgar display from a human being. I am toatlly appaled at the action."
"So, Miss Manners, You've never laughed before?"
"Certainly not! I am embarassed at the very idea of such a thought."
PIppi smiles and suddenly the servants bring out the soup.
Miss Manners has kicked her shoes off under the table and has her legs crossed in a perfect lady like manner. Her foot is moving in a circular motion as she sips her soup quietly. "Now is the time," you think to yourself and you slowly stroke the bottom of Miss Manners foot with your finger.
"Gack!" Miss Manners says as she spits out her soup.
"Whats wrong?" ask Pippi.
Embarassed, she says, "Oh nothing, the soups just a little spicy, thats all."
