Furry Captain?

You wake up on a boat, to see a man in a lab coat.

"Who are you?" you say. "Where am I?"

"I'm Dr Moreau, and we're on route to my island. That's where I keep my pets."

"Pets?"

You notice the creature steering the boat. It seems to be some kind of lion, but it only has a small mane on top of it's head, which, like it's tail, is black. It's dressed like it's on it's way to the Star Trek convention.

"That's the Captain." says Moreau. "Never mind him, follow me below decks."
