Every thing from the inside of the pouch of Matilda is dark, comfy, and snug. You feel Matilda hopping out of the room and then you hear a door shut behind. Then, after a few minutes of hearing Matilda's feet stamping on the ground from her fast-paced hopping, it is then stopped by the loud beeping of horns and cars. You hear people screaming and shouting to get out of the road all around you from inside Matilda's pouch. Then you hear the loud blare of sirens and radios. You poke your head out to see what is going on, and see a bunch of police and animal control officers all around Matilda. A net is thrown, tangling you and Matilda in it, and one of the animal control officers says, "This is one of those run away test subjects by what one of the witnesses told us, but I think this lucky Kangaroo and Joey will find a good home in the city zoo." Thoughts run through your head as you see them dragging Matilda (and you, inside her pouch) into a dark, padded room in the back of the truck. The last thing you see as they shut the doors is the horrorstruck face of Matilda. They shut and lock the door and everything goes dark and quiet. You wonder to yourself that it looks like your new mother will be Matilda in the zoo, but hey, at least if your human mother ever wants to see you again she can visit the city zoo and try to find the Marsupial section.
