Thief turns the tables

As you try to figure out what to do next, a tall man walks up to you. He is dressed in long black pants and a white shirt, and he wears a black biker's jacket. He has longish, jet-black, wiry hair and stubble on his chin. His piercing red eyes seem to bore into you. "I saw what you did" he says. "I want to use that for myself."

"I'm sorry, sir, but I'm afraid I can't just-" you begin.

"No? Then I guess I'll just have to take it by force!" the man sneers. He swiftly brings his knee into your stomach, then quickly snatches the device from your hand. You look up at him and he sneers at you again. He pushes a button on the device and you find yourself paralyzed, unable to move.

You stand there, helpless, while the thief looks at the device, occasionally pushing buttons as if he were figuring it out (which, of course, he is).

When he's done, he turns his gaze on you and smirks.(The girl from before had fled the instant the thief attacked you.) "Now," he says, "what to do with you? I could use you for crimes, or I could turn you into something...hmmm..."

Meanwhile, you just stand staring up at him, still totally paralyzed and completely helpless.
