Scott's mother walks upstairs and into his room, where she walks in on Scott petting your head. She almost screams, but instead she backs up quickly.
"What is that!?" She asks, looking scared.
"Mom, remember those video games I play," Scott replies, "There's this one series, the Super Mario series, and in it there's a dinosaur that's friends with Mario. His name is Yoshi. I didn't think they existed until now, when this one came into my room. He's so nice and friendly, Mom, can he stay with us? Pleeeease?"
"This is a dinosaur?" She asks, "My God, what is going on?"
"Mom, I promise he won't do anything bad and I know he'll be fun. Come on Mom." Scott pleads.
"I-I-I guess so." Scott's mom says, looking a little more relaxed. "But you'll have to take care of him and feed him and train him."
"Ok, Mom," Scott says happily, "and I don't think he'll need training." he adds after seeing your angry look at her.
She walks back downstairs, still perplexed by what she saw.
"Did you hear that? You can live with us, this is awesome!" Scott says in excitement.
"Yoshiii!" you say excitedly.
"Well, you'll probably need a bed of your own, and you might unfortunately have to wear a collar, too." Scott says.
For the next couple of hours the two of you go around shopping for the different things you were gonna need. Needless to say, everyone was amazed and astounded with seeing a Yoshi in real life. Most were afraid, but others thought it was cool and would pet and ride you. You couldn't recall a time in your life when you'd had so much fun. When you both returned from shopping, you had bought a bed of straw, a small red collar, a food and water bowl, and a large assortment of fruits that you picked. You were ready to start your new life.
