Nuts!

"We'd like to say yes," replies the suitor "but your tail complicates things. You'll have to become a squirrel until we can work out how to transform you safely."

"Very well" you say. The squirrels inject you, and you tranform into a full squirrel. "I can tell you're not happy being a squirrel" says the king. "If you want, you can become another species of mammal"
