"I'm glad to be out of there!" you say once you and the elderly librarian are outside.

"Me too!" she replies "Pity I've got to go back tomorrow!"

"What do you mean?" you ask.

She gives a heavy sigh. "A few months ago I stumbled across Pippi's living, ticklish palace. She captured me with intention of making me part of her palace, but I managed to literally save my skin by offering to read her stories each day, just like 1001 nights. I convinced her that I needed to go back to the library for books, and she agreed - but told me if ever they got boring she'd transmogrify me into her palace. Did you think my story was boring?"

She seems harmless, so you tell her the truth. "I thought as much" she replies "I used up all the good stuff ages ago. Please, you've got to help me find something good to read to Pippi."

"Of course" you reply.

"Thanks. My name's Janet, by the way. Janet M. Smith"
