You know from the storytelling that Pippi is ticklish, so you mercilessly tickle her bare feet, first with her fingers, then with feathers.

When you decide she's had enough, you gag her with her own stockings and are about to walk out when you see the foot-shaped couch you were lying on wriggle its toes. It wants your attention!

"What do you want?" you ask "Can you hear me?"

The couch nods its big toe

"Do you have sentinence?"

The toe nods.

"Where is the rest of your body?"

The toe points all around the room.

"Were you once a person?"

Nod, nod.
