Marmago is Forgiving.

Later that night, Scott returns with Marmago. "I thought you weren't coming back!" you gasp with delight.

"I decided to wait until it was dark." replies the professor "Anyway, after the injuries you caused me I needed to rest up."

"I'm really sorry." you say, hanging your head in shame.

"Don't worry." says Marmago with a smile as he pats your trunk. "I should have expected your animal instincts to take over. At least it got you unstuck!"

"Can you turn me back?" you ask hopefully.

"Yes, but I need time. The collar broke, remember? I should be able to fix it, or at least make a new one eventually. Right now we need to find a better place to hide you."
