Unable to bring her down to size

Running outside the mall, you point the device at the giantess and constantly press the reset button as hard as you can - but it has no effect.

You run towards the amusement park, where the godzilla-sized girl is thankfully distracted with the rides. When you're as close as you can safely get, you aim the remote up at her. Still no effect.

The giantess must be too big for the remote to work. It seems the only thing to do is to take her back to the lab and hope the Professor can shrink her. That means you will have to tell them both how you misused the remote.
