Legends aren't legends for nothing

There are several Legendary Pokemon that could easily defeat Godzilla. You eventually narrow the choices down to Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Lugia, and Ho-oh.

Mewtwo possesses incredible psychic power and is easily one of the most powerful beings in existance (fiction, whatever).

Rayquaza is an ancient and powerful dragon with incredible speed, whose power easily tops any rampaging monster's.

Deoxys possesses shapeshifting abilities, from a form that can move at unmatched speeds, to a form with nigh-impenatrable defenses but cannot attack to save its life, to a form whose offensive power surpasses any other but takes a hit like a blown eggshell.

Lugia is another powerful psychic with great strength. An agile psychic amphibious bird would porve quite strong.

Ho-oh possesses great strength and massive firepower (literally). His Sacred Fire burns through anything, and his other powerful attacks will serve him well.
