Monster attack

You slowly point to the left opening, and Mike and Chris take that as an agreement. They immediately head for the left opening, but the instant they pass the red line on the floor, two tentacles lash out from the dark and snatch them up before vanishing back into the blackness. Within an instant, Drakk is there as well, diving into the darkness. You hear the sound of a violent struggle, then silence.

Finally, Drakk re-emerges, a little worse for wear. Held under his arms are Mike and Chris, both seemingly half-eaten. He also drags behind him a collection of tentacles. As he moves forward, he drags into view what the tentacles were attached to: A monstrous blob-like creature blocking the entryway.

"Not...a...good...idea..." he pants, dropping both the boys' corpses and the bundle of tentacles.
