With a sigh, you give in to Scott's demands and head for the ship. As you climb in through a hole in the hull, there is a brief white flash, but you ignore it. You tread cautiously, as the thing is ancient and rotting. As you reach the deck, you are suddenly attacked by what appears to be a ghost - a pirate ghost. The ghost backs you into a corner, laughing, as you (and Scott) squeal in terror and tremble.

But before the ghost can do anything, a white flash and a piercing male voice rings out, "Begone, knave!!" When the light clears, you see an odd man standing in front of you. He resembles a typical grizzled 1890s prospector, except slightly more dignified, and holding some sort of weird-looking flash gun. He looks at you fiercely and snarls. "Who-are-you-What-are-you-doing-here-Are-you-trying-to-steal-my-treasurrrreeeee?"
