The Stuck Gator

You jump out of the way as the bloated gator snaps at you and race down the tunnel, going on all fours for extra speed. You daren't turn round but you can hear the huge creature following behind.

You turn off into a smaller tunnel, hoping to lose him. A few seconds later you hear a crashing THUNK! that shakes the tunnel walls and hear a grunt of "Ooof! Oh, no! Uhh! Helpp!".

Risking a glance behind you you see that the fat gator has gotten stuck fast in the narrow tunnel! "HELLPP!" he wails, squirming and wriggling "Ah'm STUCK!".

You start giggling at the sight of the jammed alligator. "Please help me!" he pleads, a tear forming in his eye. "Ah won't eat you, Ah promise!".

Can you trust this girth-laden gator? On the other hand, now would be an ideal time to interrogate him to find out what he knows about Dr Hex.
