Late at night, a masked man dressed entirely in black approaches a certain building. He picks the lock and sneaks in, and immediately starts taking everything not nailed down and putting it in a large black bag. He cleans out the entire building, leaving it completely bare. In his rounds, one object in particular catches his attention, and he resolves to examine it later, after his escape.
Later, in his own home, the masked man examines the particular object. It seems to be a remote of sorts, with a screen above the buttons like a portable TV. He starts fiddling with it, and eventually finds the 'help' screen. He scours the help screen and quickly learns everything there is to know about the device. His eyes light up. This could be very valuable to him. But it seems to have another master right now. Well, he thinks, I'll just take care of that first

You, as Yvette, groan awake the next morning to see the brunette standing over you grinning sadistically. You moan. "Don't you have anything better to do than torture me?" you ask.
The brunette looks incensed. "Alright just for that, you're gonna get it twice as bad today-"
"No one's getting it at all today," says a deep voice that comes from nowhere. A hologram of a pale, dark-haired man with a scar over one eye appears in midair. "I am the new master of this device, and it's power now belongs to me, not you. Speaking of which..." The hologram reaches into its pocket and reveals the device, then presses a button. Almost immediately, you are reverted back to yourself, Evan, once more. "Don't you just love the reset button?" sneers the hologram. "Well, I'm off to greatness. Be seeing you!" And with that, the hologram disappears.
