Just the Monster for the Job

You smile as you see that you have drawn just the card you need. "Prepare for this duel to end, Marik!" you cry.

"I already am prepared," said Marik. "On my next turn I'm going to summon my Winged Tickling Dragon of Ra and win the duel."

"But you won't get a next turn," you say. "I summon..."

As you pause, card in hand, for dramatic effect, Marik blanches. He mutters to himself, "Could it be...?"

You finish your play, crying, "...ASURA PRIEST!" The Spirit monster, with its appearance of an Indian god, appears on your field, transformed into Hindu Ticklehands.

"As you know, Marik," you explain, "Hindu Ticklehands can attack every monster on your opponent's side of the field once each."

"But what good will that do you?" asks Marik. "This just makes the duel a stalemate. You will attack my Revival Jams, and they will keep coming back to the field. My Laugh Points will be safe. You've just created a stalemate - that is, until you're too tired to order Hindu Ticklehands to attack any more, and then I'll win."

"Not quite, Marik. I have a trap card, Meteorain. For this turn when my monster's attack is higher than your monster's defence, the difference can apply to your Laugh Points. Revival Jam is actually going to do you in. Had you just summoned an ordinary monster, I could have attacked and brought you a bit lower, but Revival Jam has to keep coming back to the field every time as a new monster, and Hindu Ticklehands can attack each one as many times as they can come back. Prepare to be tickled until you lose. Hindu Ticklehands, attack Revival Jam!"

Your monster destroys Marik's Revival Jam, which returns to the field in defence position. To inflict the piercing damage, its many hands make a tickling pass at Marik. You look to see how far his Laugh Points have gone down, only to discover that the attack has not reduced his Laugh Points at all.

"What's going on?" you ask. "You didn't lose a single Laugh Point!"

"There's a good reason for that," replies Marik. "I didn't laugh. Attack my Revival Jam as many times as you like, you still have to make me laugh to reduce my laugh points. I just have to outlast you."

You order Hindu Ticklehands to attack Revival Jam and attempt to tickle Marik out of some Laugh Points four or five times to no avail. As you order your next attack, you get an idea...
