"WHAT!" you scream again. You drop the ice pack not caring how much the wound hurts. Looking down your body you a rare colored fox's body, a white underside, beautiful unmarked orange fur, a blacktipped tail, and black paws.
Jake the otter hands you a mirror to examine yourself further.
"What happened to me!" you yell astonished, "My body, my fingers, all of it! Where is it!"
"What de ya meen mista?" You look down to see a baby hedgehog with a puzzled look on his face.
"Jeremy, I told you to wait outside," Jake says.
"But me want to see a foxie!" he protests.
"GO!" Jake says losing his patience.
The little hedgehog then wattles back outside with a pouting face.
"Where everyone else?" Scott asks.
"They left because they know he used to be a human, " the squirrel replies "Also, the guy who slammed your head said that noone is allowed to leave the village, somethin' about people going to search for you guys. he stationed gaurds around the place to make sure no one gets out".
Remembering your wound you move the icepack back to your head.
"He told us it was because humans could trace us back to the village," she finishes.
"You talk to much," Scott complains.
Right then all three of you look at him at the same time.
"What?" he asks.

After spending the day learning how to walk again with your new friends you think it's time to turn in for the night.
"Where do I sleep?" you ask.
"My mother doesn't allow boys to sleep at my tent," Julie explains.
"You can sleep with me and Scott!" Jake announces.
"Jake and I," Julie corrects.
Ignoring the correction, Jake leads you to his house.
When you walk into the house you hear his mom.
"Jake!" she yells "You were supposed to be home fifteen minutes ago!"
"I know, I was helping my friend here." he replies.
"Really? OK I understand. So where is... GET OUT, OUT!" she yells as she shoves you out the door, leaving Jake and Scott inside.
Julie comes running up to with a puzzled look on her face.
"What happened?" she asks.
You, just as confused as she is, you simply reply.
"I don't know. She screamed at me and shoved me right out the door."
"Oh, she afraid that you might try and kill her family."
"But Scott used to be human, why didn't she kick him out?" you demand.
"Didn't you hear? Your friend Scott lost his memory; something about a crack in the machine that transformed him. After it broke the repair bear came in and fixed it. Then when you were put in the machine it seemed that the problem was fixed, which it was."
"What do mean?"
"The Wolf had the settings for snake to punish you for refusing the transformation, to crawl on your belly for the rest of your life. While it was in process, a blue fire had appeared and covered your whole body, overrided the system, and instead turned you into what you are now,"
You look at your paws in amazement.
"That of which had made people more scared of you," she finishes. "If you want I can give you some of my blankets to sleep in, just make sure you give them back to me secretly."
"Why?" you ask.
"Because of plenty of reasons," she exclaims. "In the future you'll have to build you're own tent, and make your own blanket and clothes. No one will accept you into their house."
