The Battle That Didn't Last Long

The squirrels take you to the temple of the gorgon. They release you and you go to find her. You enter a room filled with statues and columns. You look around for her, then begin sniffing. Suddenly, you catch the scent. You trail her down, until finally, you come around one of the columns and see her, staring at you.

You raise both of your hands in the air and roar at her, as if to frighten her. She stares at you with eyes glowing green. Suddenly you feel cold. You don't look down, because you don't have time. Soon your entire werewolf body holds its position.

You hands raised in the air are now solid rock. Your mouth hangs open in stone. You are completely immobilized in stone. Soon afterwards, the gorgon moves you to a position outside of the room. Your statue remains outside next to a couple of stone columns. There is no escaping now.

Months go by, your statue is still there, covered in moss and vines and bird crap. In fact, a bird has made a nest in your mouth. You have no idea of what is happening. After months of waiting the gorgon is slain by a wandering traveler and her spell wears off. You turn back into a werewolf again and return to the squirrels.
