you read the documents. they are blueprints for some kind of machine, not the one you used but one more sinister. you realise its written on underwater paper, you look at the wreck, its from the 1700s, undewater paper wasn't invented in the 1700s! you swim back to the house and enter through the pressure chamber. "well done says your father. this laser-satellite will help us dominate the world."
