Preparing for Amy's sleepover (you're just one of the girls now)

You wonder if you should try to tell your friend Matthew about what happened to you. Yeah, as if he'll believe me, you think. He'll think I'm some crazy chick.

You tell Matthew, "Er, I think you have a wrong number."

"Huh?" Matthew says, sounding confused. "I'm sure I got the right number. Is Sam there?"

"Uh, yeah . . . I mean, well, this is Samantha," you reply shakily, giving Matthew the first female name you could think of.

"Oh!" Matthew says, and laughs. "Sorry. The Sam I'm trying to reach is a guy. He must've changed his cell phone number again and forgot to tell me. Well, sorry I bothered you." You hear a "click" on the other end.

"Great," you think to yourself. "Now what?" You had been able to find an outfit to wear to the dance club earlier (which you're still wearing at the moment): a swishy little red skirt with thigh-high black fishnet stockings, black halter top, boots, and a black leotard underneath. You're going to need more clothes to wear than this, though; who knows how long you'll remain a girl? You decide to grab a few other clothing items from your sister's room.

You pull out a small suitcase and then begin sorting through your sister's clothes. You pack a pair of panties and an extra bra. You also pack a denim skirt, a pink t-shirt with a white-laced heart on the front, and a pair of sandals.

You are also careful to remember to pack a case of makeup. Strangely, the potion seems to have given you exactly the knowledge you need to pass yourself off as an average young lady. You have no trouble picking the right shade of lipstick, the appropriate mascara, or any other items you'll need to beautify yourself.

It's now nearly midnight. Since you're now a girl, you wonder if you should go outside by yourself this late? "I'll be okay," you decide. "Amy's house isn't that far away."

You head out the front door of your house, packed suitcase in hand. You turn around to lock the door, then turn again to head down the sidewalk and toward Amy's house.

As you walk, you remember that Matthew had mentioned something about crashing a girls' sleepover, but you didn't catch which sleepover it was that he wanted to raid. "He isn't coming to Amy's, is he?" you wonder.

Precisely five minutes later, you ring the front doorbell at Amy's house. Through the small window on the front door, you can vaguely make out someone approaching to let you in. It turns out that the person answering the door is . . . .
