You decide to help. You tell the man that you have much better hearing and can hear through the sound proof doors.
"Sure. Hey, they don't call them sound proof for nothing." he said.
You knew he wouldn't beleive you at first. You shifted to anthro form to show that you could do what you claimed.
"What- nevermind," he said shaking his head. "Just use your senses to find other survivors."
You set out sniffing and listening finding someone here and there in diffent rooms. Everyone began helping, and soon there was a small army of shifters trying to help the men. You met up with the agents, following the man who had helped you. You saw your dad but tried not to imidiately warm to him yet. You approach him carefully and call him.
"How did you know my name?" he asks.
"I'm sorry to tell you," you say coming closer to him, "but your son is now your daughter."
"What? What do you mean?" he says.
"I've been transformed Dad." Now you look him in the eyes. His eyes grow wide with shock seeing that you had changed. He quickly recovers from the shock shaking his head knowing he had a mission to finish.
"Well, I'll bet we're both keen on finding out what this new body can do." You nodded at him knowing he meant that you would be an asset in this mission now. You can't believe it! Working side by side with a secret agent as both a partner and family!
"What do you need me to do?" you ask. He tells you that they've chased Dr. Hex here and had killed most of the scientists here, taking a machine with him. Dr. Hex plans on modifying it to work for his purposes.
"I have a feeling that the machine is what changed me," you say, "Knowing that, I've got a few pretty good ideas as to what he's going to do with it."
You begin to listen when you hear something big getting closer. You could tell that you were about to face your first true challenge.
