Try again??

You head for a remote area and pull over. The device seems to have calmed down, so you figure it might be safe to use.

You decide to make sure everything is done right this time. You make sure the machine is set to 'user', then you go into 'gender' and select 'male'. You recheck to make sure it is set correctly, then press 'activate'.

To your horror, the machine freaks out again. "ERROR. INVALID USER. RESETTING...COMPLETE. DETERMINING USER..." The device flashes a bronze light, then: "COMPLETE. CONFIGURING..."

"NAME: JANET". At this, you find you can only think of your name as Janet.

"GENDER: FEMALE." Of course. No change.

"AGE: 19." You get a little smaller but otherwise no change.

"BREAST SIZE: MEDIUM-SMALL" Your large breasts quickly shrink to a much more normal size, a bit below average.

"HAIR: LONG, BLACK." Your hair turns pitch-black and falls to your waist.

And so on: "RACE: WHITE/CAUCASIAN. EYES: BLUE. BLOOD TYPE: AB", etc.

Finally: "PHYSICAL CONFIGURATION COMPLETE. LOCKING USER'S FORM...COMPLETE."
