Dr. Maroo starts the engine and drives off. You drive around the building, through a gate and into the main parking lot, where you pass a tow truck towing a familiar car. Before you can say something Maroo explains more about your "training".
"Here at Solacore Industries, we have a secret branch, the Gilcorian branch. It's an experimental group of men and women. We are...are you sure you want to hear this? There is no turning back once we tell you about this." You nod. "We are experimenting with transformation. Molecular reorganization. Lycanthropy. All kinds of transformations. We can make you fatter, more muscular. We can turn you into an old hag or a beautiful woman model. We can make you old, we can turn you into a baby. We can turn you into a snake. A toad. A sheet of iron. Anything."
You are stunned by this sudden information. Maroo continues.
"The training is primarily how to fight against the transformation's mental effects. How to resist eating a mouse if you are a snake, how to resist collapsing into an eternal dream if you are a peice of cloth, how to stop yourself if you are given lycanthropy...that kind of thing. The other ten percent of the training is just learning standard procedures, and what to do in an emergency."
The car drive is thirty minutes. Most of it is Maroo talking about technicalities that you obviously won't need. Eventually a large bunker-looking building comes into view.
"We'll take the back entrance," Maroo says, and takes a turn to the right, going away from the building on a gravel road. The road goes downward, and it seems like you are driving in a lowered peice of land. After about a dozen security checks Maroo goes through, you finally see the building ahead. It seems the road is going straight into the lower levels.
To the side of the road you see a group of large tanks, marked "WARNING!". "That's the raw Firgrean liquid. We pump it into the building to be refined and used in specific manner by our machines. Contact with raw Firgrean is a recipie for...undesired results."
As you draw closer to the building, something unexpected happens!
