War for the brain

The tickler was getting annoyed now. The machine had reached 51% after she'd managed to make Velma laugh some more but since then the girl had bitten her lip and refused to laugh. The soles of Velma's feet were ruby red and sweating after the ticklish workout she'd given them, but now they seemed to made of squishy steel. Her toes were clenched tight and no matter what tool she used the tickler couldn't make the girl crack. Think! The tickler thought, feeling like she were the one being brain drained. What could she do to break this one? Every minute that ticked by was another minute to be discovered. Then the tickler had an idea." Well Velma it's been fun, but our little game must now come to an end." She said, walking over to the machine's storage compartment. She opened it and withdrew a short metal baton. She had forgotten about this, since she'd never needed it before now. She returned to the helpless pair of feet and flicked on the baton's switch. A green light filled the room as the baton lit up, and the tickler began waving it around Velma's feet." What is that?" The tickler looked up and smiled at the horrified look on Velma's face." It's a nerve stimulation device. Right now it's stimulating the nerves in your feet and making them much more sensitive." Velma's eyes widened in alarm, making the tickler laugh like a madwoman." You've put up quite the fight, but now it's over."
