Scott is dead, the terror of your life and of the current reality is finally put out of your misery.

At least you hoped.

But, as you released yourself from the strangle hold you had upon him and stood to try and figure out what to do next, a voice is heard behind you.

"Oh mommy, I love you too"

in fit of absolute surprise you turn to regard who had just spoke.

However, recognizing the voice, you immediately wished you hadn't.

A dozen or so children stood in a clearing some distance away. each dressed the same, each watching you with eyes full of that familiar wonderment you recognized so well. Each child now softly giggling. Each one of them. Scott.
