Game 4 | Game 4 Outline |
It is nearly the end of the work day. After concluding your conversation with Dr. Bordoril, you head back to your desk to shut off your computer, switch your phone over to "make busy" mode, and head home. Surprisingly, you have quickly learned how to walk in your high heels without stumbling. Or is it that the transformation process did something to you so that you would not be clumsy in heels?
You settle down into your comfortable office chair, adjusting your skirt so it will not ride up your thighs. Following Dr. Bordoril's typed instructions, you check the voice mail. An electronic voice informs you that there is a new message awaiting you. You dial the voice mail number to listen to it. As you press "1" to start listening to the message, Dr. Bordoril walks up to your desk.
"I just wanted to say good night . . . ." Dr. Bordoril starts to say, then he stops. "Oh, sorry . . . ." He did not realize you were on the phone.
You smile at Dr. Bordoril as the voice message begins. You hear a young woman's panicked voice.
"Jessica, I know you're going to get this message. You must NOT do what Dr. Bordoril wants. You have to get out of there!" You hear a door open and shut in the background. "I have to go . . . ." The message ends. The voice mail system informs you that you have no more new messages.
Dr. Bordoril sees your face take on an apprehensive look. "Jessica, what's wrong?"
"Uh, it was a wrong number," you respond quickly. "Sorry. I just . . . remembered that I hadn't yet paid my credit card bill. I think it's overdue."
"I wouldn't worry," Dr. Bordoril reassures you. "You know how these credit card companies are. Just flash your smile at them if they give you trouble." He winks. You blush. "Well, good night, Jessica. Make sure to lock up."
"Right. Good night!" you say, again feeling self-conscious about the difference in the pitch of your voice.
Who left that disturbing voice message? What are you going to do about it?
