". . . Adriana . . . but you can also call me . . . ."

Quickly, your clothes and your body change back into their original forms.

". . . Adrian!"

Grant jumps away from you with a start. "What the . . . ." He runs into the kitchen, turns on the faucet, and splashes himself with cold water. "I'm seeing things," he gasps.

"Grant, no, it's really me, Adrian. See?" You take his right hand and place it on your forearm. "I'm real."

"What? Am I going crazy?" he stammers. "Just a moment ago, I thought you were a guh . . . a guh . . . ."

"A girl?" you ask, giving him a mischievous smile. "I WAS a girl. No fooling. Watch this."

You let go of Grant's hand and transform yourself back into the hot blonde you had been just moments ago. You place your left hand on your hip and blow a kiss to Grant. You take Grant's hand again and place it on your arm.

"See? This is real," you say in your feminine voice.

Grant stares at you in awe. "How are you doing this?" he asks.

"I drank some potion that my grandpa kept hidden in a guest room," you explain. "Don't ask me how he made it or why. All I know is that it gave me the ability to change myself to a woman and back into Adrian whenever I want. Sort of like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, except that I don't ever lose control."

"You can even change your clothes," Grant gasps. "That's crazy. So what are you going to do now?"

"What do you mean?" you ask.

"I mean, you're not thinking of staying like this, are you?"

"Why not? I can change back to Adrian whenever I want."

Grant considers that for a moment. "Well, I suppose this could solve my problems with getting a girlfriend," he muses.

You give him a playful shove, and both of you laugh. He did bring up a valid question, however. Should you even be considering staying like this? What if the potion has some other effects that are less than pleasant?
