Maroo explains

Jason has trashed the engine, but offers to give you and Dr Maroo a lift. You both climb up on his back and he stomps off at high speed.

"Why are you turning my classmates into dinosaurs?" you ask.

"Military uses. Not just for fighting, but for construction and rescue as well."

"Why teenagers?"

"They have a special connection with dinosaurs. Adults may become corrupted for power. We've noted that boys choose carnivores and girls choose herbivores, big suprise."

Jason gives a "Who, me?" grin.

When you all arrive at the ranch building, you and Maroo jump off Jason's back. "This is where we leave you, Jason." says Maroo. "I don't think you'll be able to fit through the main door"
