As you try to decipher the words on the sign, you keep wiggling your toes in the grass. The more you wiggle, the more the grass feels like a plush, luxurious carpet. Then you look down and see that the grass has turned red... and that is really is a plush, luxurious carpet!
You look up to find yourself in a palace. All around you see lavishly expensive furnishings and the coat of arms of some royal family you don't recognize. You just hope you know the language of whatever this country is. Luckily the carpet is so thick and plush that you can probably hide your bare feet from view.
A door opens to admit an officious-looking personnage in court dress. This person is of indeterminate age and gender, and asks, "Are you the new wizard? Prince Shane will see you now." (S)he leads the way to an ornately carved door, looking down and muttering something about dress codes. You blush and dig your feet deeper into the carpet. The personnage knocks on the door. The door is thrown open. You follow the personnage two or three steps into the room. Then you both bow low. "The new wizard, Your Highness," announces the personnage.
"Thank you, Privy Chamberlain," speaks a voice.
The Chamberlain withdraws a step to the side. You raise yourself, and look into the face of Prince Shane.
