How're ya gonna explain THIS one?

You sneak back to your car and drive back home, being extra careful to stay within the law. The last thing you need now is to be pulled over and have to show a license that not only states the wrong gender, but the wrong species! Thankfully, the drive is without incident except for someone giving you the finger for no conceivable reason. Darned road-rage drivers, you think to yourself.

When you get home, you dash inside before anyone drives by and drop all the blinds. Sure, the neighbors might think some weird things, but it's far better than their actually finding out the truth. You run upstairs to your room and pick up the phone. You pound your dad's cell-phone number into the keypad. Please let it be on..., you think.

"Hello?" your dad's voice answers.

"Um, Dad," you stutter, "I...I know you're not going to believe this, but this is me."

"Me who?" he queries. "Ma'am, I believe you've got a wrong number."

"No, Dad," you yelp, "listen! I'm your son, and I can prove it! You are really a secret agent. Your agent number is 127. Your SSN is 134-21-7727. You're a Caucasian male, forty years old, with red hair, one blue eye and one green, a penchant for Beatles records, and a hint of a Norse accent."

Your dad is silent for a moment. "Son?" he asks. "Is that really you? Your information is all correct, but why do you sound like a...a..."

"A girl?" you finish for him. "Dad, if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. You're just going to have to see it for yourself. I really need you back here ASAP."

"All right, Son," he says, "this mission is about wrapped up, so I think I can make it in a couple days. Will that work?"

"I think so," you reply. "I'm gonna have to stay in the house until then, but I think I can manage. Don't take too long, though."

"I won't," he laughs. "Signing out."

So you're stuck in the house for two or three days as...this fox-girl creature. What do I do now?, you wonder.
