Foot Tickling 202?

The pyrots seem surprised by your question. In fact, they've been having so much fun tickling Rex's huge barefeet that they might easily have forgotten you were even there any more. And who ever knew that Rex had such incredibly ticklish tootsies? But it seems that you've said the magic words.

"Dr Hex?" squawk the pyrots. They whisper together, and apparently decide to tell you. "We're, er, negotiating with Dr Hex. He's going to get us something we need if we find him the most ticklish person in a hundred mile radius. And you were in the lead until you got us this one," the head pyrot explains, running his claws up and down Rex's gigantic bare soles and sending Rex into another bout of delirious giggles.

But there seems to be an opposition faction among the pyrots. "I don't think so," says another pyrot. "This one has bigger feet, but the other one had a stronger laugh."

Soon a squawking match breaks out. Most of the pyrots think Rex is more ticklish, and tickle him more to demonstrate. But the second pyrot stands his ground, and gains support.

"We'll have to put it to a Tickle-Off!" the leaders of the two factions cry. You try to protest. After all, you made a deal. But before you can escape, the pyrots bury you in the sand again, right next to Rex.

Rex has caught his breath while the pyrots have been busy buring you in the sand again. "WHEN I EVER GET OUTA HERE, DWEEB, YOU'RE DEAD MEHEEHEEHEEHEEEEEEAT!!!" he snarls, ending in a renewal of helpless laughter as the pyrots start tickling both of you at the same time.

You think this time you can steel yourself to withstand the pyrots' foot-tickling. But then they really go after your wiggling toes and you can't stop yourself, you just lose it. Rex's hysterical laughter makes you feel all the more ticklish, which makes your laughter more intense, which affects Rex in turn, and soon the two of you are both total lunatics.

After a period of comparative tickling which feels like weeks but which a look at Rex's watch (which by chance you can see lying on the sand between the two of you when you turn your head) reveals to be a half hour, the pyrots withdraw and confer. Luckily, Rex is too exhausted to make threats. You can't hear what the birds are saying, but an equal number of them seem to be pointing in both directions. Then they return to announce the result of their deliberations.
