Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
Try as you might, you feel your mind collapsing around you, and you drift away in a fog of dumb, animal self-pity. Thats it. So long, thought, at least we'll always have Venice...
Your eyes open, and you're vaguely aware of lying down. It's all gone, you remind yourself, unsure of what 'it' was. You try to make a noise, and all that comes out is a whinny. Your body, which seems to have taken matters into its own hands, informs you that someone's in the room.
"Whoa! Nice.. nice." The voice seems familiar. You lift your head and try to focus. It's a familiar voice. Fred! You are morbidly pleased to remember something.
"You just going to lie there all day?" Fred asks, sarcasm plain in his voice.
"What's the point?" you neigh at him, knowing that he won't understand. "I'm a horse, not a person now!"
Oddly, Fred answers. "So? I'm a wolf, not a person either."
"You talk horse?" You feel very confused by this.
"No. Do you?" He starts padding towards you, and comes into focus.
Belatedly, your body brings something else to your attention.
WOLF!!!
Firing on instinct alone you rear up, ready to kick out in defense. But your balance feels wrong, and you instinctively try to get it back.
And then you're standing. Whilst unconscious, your body has undergone some other changes. You're a morph again, but much more balanced between the two forms. You then realise that your memory hasn't gone, you were just so wrapped up in self pity that you hadn't notice it come back.
You feel very silly.
Fred wags his tail. Even that's sniggering.
"I've never seen anyone so pleased to see me!"
