The storekeeper gives Brian permission to go to the food court, as long as the wolf accompanies him. The old man then makes a series of lengthy telephone calls. Reluctant to leave the store in your unwelcome new form, you methodically straighten items at the back of the store, hoping that it will bias the storekeeper in your favour.
"So, are you finally on staff?" asks a hollow voice behind you.
Turning on your heels, you are surprised to see Brian. "I thought that you went to the food court," you think aloud, keeping your less polite thoughts to yourself.
"I did," explains Brian, "but Nathan and I both were kicked out for not being dressed appropriately. Anyhow, would you like some training? I can tell you how to catch birds and mice."
