A Werecat

Your arm itches. You look at it, and see the fur growing on it. Your hands are even becoming paws. You tell Fred, "Well, it looks like I am a werewolf." He shakes his head. "No, You are a werecat. I can smell the feline scent." You gasp, "What." While the fur spreads, Fred explains, "I guess the animal you turn into is dependent on your character. Maybe you were a curious loner who didn't like to follow the pack. Maybe you were agile. Maybe you were even good friends with cats." You nod as your ears elongate. A perfect description. But you wonder if he is going to do something bad. Cats and Dogs don't get along.
