Game 2 | Game 2 Outline |
You feel a strange draining sensation and your body becomes weak. As the potion bottle refills itself before your eyes, you find yourself wondering, Hey, is that my energy? Have I been tricked?.
Miss Swanja, seeming to sense your thoughts, says, "No no, that's not your energy. The potion recycles itself. What you're feeling is your own energy being used for the tranformation ..."; she pauses a moment and says "a, um, catalyst, that's what chemists call it. It starts a reaction without being used up. That's how I can give it away for free."
You seem to be getting some of your energy back, but as far as you can tell you are only a little bigger. You also feel like you just finished a marathon and are worn out from the experience. You turn toward Fred and notice he too has changed only a little. Bigger and somewhat less wolflike, he also seems to be less scary to be next to.
"Good", Miss Swanja says, "your systems have balanced. You should be in your new form by tomorrow if you get a good meal, and a good night's sleep. Hope you fellas are not in a hurry, though, the free potions are quite slow." She picks up the potion bottles (which are now full) and puts them away.
After a few more minutes, you start to feel better ... except for a strange disorienting feeling that can't quite be described accurately even in your mind.
Only slightly disappointed, you get up and begin to leave.
Miss Swanja, who had seemed to be daydreaming a bit, lifts her head and says, "Have a nice day, and don't forget what I said about the meal and sleep. If you don't have enough energy, the transformation may stop, and you will have to take the potion again. Don't go swimming and avoid exercise for a while; you may feel better, but your energy is low, and you could faint or get cramps if you try to do too much."
Have a nice day, indeed, you think sarcastically to yourself as you leave. Fred follows you out but seems a little dazed. You just now begin to realize that a good night's sleep and a meal are going to be hard to come by ... Wait, don't bunnies eat grass? There's plenty down that way, you think, and immediately begin to worry why you thought that until you realize how hungry you are. I'm so hungry I could give even grass a try, you think.
