You feel the wolf's hot breath as his fangs gently close around your throat. You close your eyes as you expect your throat to be torn out.
Suddenly the wolf's tongue bobs against your throat as he tries to talk. "huu yu gih? Ih sah' HUUU YUUU GII'!"
The wolf's eyes blink as he releases you. "Damn that new instinct! I forgot myself and was holding you in a submissive position until you were supposed to give." The wolf rubs the faint scar in his forehead. "Losing control... that would'nt have happened if you hadn't scrambled my brains for a while with that bullet. Y'know, that was really unfriendly of you to shoot a defenseless wolf asking for help."
The wolf's eyes narrow as he looks at you. "Maybe I should teach you some manners... bite you and let you change like me, and have some idiot shoot you... A lot!... Maybe in the balls too." You shake in fear as the wolf walks on his hind legs in a circle around you. "Funny thing... I thought I was dead when you fired... and in doing that, you just 'volunteered' to help me find out what happened to me." The wolf grins very close to your nose. "If you're lucky, you won't become a food animal... if we find out what happened."
The wolf grips your hand in an iron hold. "By the way, my name is Scott..."
