You put your head against your desk and close your eyes.
Oh, dear. What time is it?
You look up at the clock and see that it's half past eight! You feel awful; what in the world did you drink to have such a such a colossal hangover? Oh, well . . . no time to remember now. You have to be at work in thirty minutes.
You jump in and out of the shower in record time and have your suit on sixty seconds later. It may be a little wet, but at least it will be at the office on time, with you in it. No time for breakfast, so you head on out to the car and get in. You turn the key in the ignition and apply full pressure to the gas pedal, making sure not to scratch the plastic with your claws. To calm yourself, you turn on the radio and immediately find a station playing "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." You cheer and croon along with Mick Jagger, and somehow you feel better about your presentation. Won't the district supervisor be surprised by your new approach! You turn off the highway, and moments later, you arrive in the parking lot. By now, you actually are looking forward to your speech.
