Now seated, you decide to assess the situation as calmly as possible. After all, you are a college graduate with a promising business career, and you can't allow some excess body hair to get in the way of a bright future; just the other day, your boss complimented you for being his most rational employee! So figuring out what's going on should be a piece of cake for you. Could it be a dream? Perhaps, you think, but in that case, you can't do much besides wait until morning. You try to pinch yourself but incur a puncture wound when your claws dig into your skin. It hurts.
All of a sudden, the answer comes to you: this is just an allergic reaction to Nutra-Sweet! You never did trust it, and you had misgivings about eating those low-calorie brownies of Mrs. Henderson's. Maybe you should call your neighbors and ask if they're experiencing the same symptoms. Relieved, you get up and reach for the telephone.
