"Nonsense," replies the old man; "it's on the house! Genuine fur slippers, guaranteed to keep you warm on even the coldest winter night. I got an extra shipment by mistake, and I figured they'd make a great lagniappe for whoever came by this afternoon."

You thank him again and say goodbye to Brian before leaving. You had planned to go to Sears, but you suddenly don't feel much like shopping. What now?
