You grab the object, and feel a small jolt. You feel somewhat dizzy, and collapse on the floor.
You awake to the sounds of strange, but familiar music. You seem to have been sleeping on a small woven pad. Getting up and taking a look around, you are surprised by your alien surroundings. You are in a small pagoda, and you can see a procession of people in strange robes marching by, singing. You reach for your pockets to try to find the device that took you here, and are surprised to find that you actually have no pockets at all. You seem to be wearing a colorful kimono. Now you realize why the music seemed so familiar. You have entered the pseudo-Japanese setting of Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Mikado". At least you're a tenor.
